Preschool Storytime

How does the community use library services on a typical day? Take a look! On Wednesday, January 29th the Canton Free Library took a "snapshot" of the activities at our library. Our "snapshot" is part of SNAPSHOTNY: A Day in the Life of a Library, a statewide event hosted by NYLA (New York Library Association). The purpose of this event is to show the valuable services libraries provide to our communities on a daily basis.

We gathered photos, videos, and statistics to capture what life was like at our library on January 29th. There were 144 books checked out, 23 reference questions, and 22 computers users of all ages. We had 18 children and 10 adults at our popular Preschool Storytime. You can view pictures and a video of our programs on our Facebook page. All in all, we had a busy but wonderful winter day!
