Home office...

This week, and last, the CFL staff have been discovering ways of connecting with each other and working from home, along with the rest of humankind.  We’ve been doing pretty well, and our pets are SO happy to have us home!

At first this was a bit of an adventure… sort of like Ice Storm ‘98 (for those of you who remember).  We found the antics of our pets amusing. We found it amusing that people were hoarding toilet paper.

We are a bit weary now. We didn’t really BELIEVE that people were hoarding toilet paper.

People are anxious - and they are alone with their stress. You can’t really comfort a friend via Zoom, and Slack misses the subtleties of emotion playing over the face of the friend who is trying to sound upbeat.

There is a collective grief beginning to be evident.

Do, please, take time to get outside. Give yourself a breather from your devices. Read a book. Escape for a bit from the realities of the impact of Coronavirus.

When you return, check out our website and Facebook page.  We continue to update and try to get useful and entertaining links out there for you. Online services are still available.  Keep in touch - we want to know how you are doing!
