Library Policies
Library Cards:
Your first card is free.
A first replacement card is $1.00; a second is $2.00 to a maximum of $5.00.
Adults should have identification that verifies name and current address to obtain a library card.
Children must be able to print first and last name to obtain library cards. Parent or guardian signatures are required for children under 15 years of age.
Please notify the library of any change in name, address, telephone number or email address.

*All DVDs and videos for adults cost $1.00 for the week; children's videos and DVDs are free.
Renewals:
All materials may be renewed in person, over the telephone or online if there is no waiting list.
Materials with a two (2) week loan period may be renewed once if there is no waiting list.
Materials with a four (4) week loan period may be renewed up to 3 times if there is no waiting list.
ILL books (books from other libraries) may be renewed if the new date due does not conflict with the date that the book is due back to the lending library.
Fees and Fines:
Photocopies are 15¢ a side.
Overdue Adult materials are charged 10¢ per day per item not to exceed $2.00 per item.
Overdue Childrens and Young Adult materials are charged 5¢ per day per item not to exceed $1.00 per item.
Lost magazines require a payment of the cost of the individual issue.
Videos and DVDs have an overdue charge of 10¢ per video or DVD each day overdue.
Fines do not exceed $5.00 for any number of overdue items returned in a single day. Were just happy to have our materials returned.
