CHILDREN’S CLASSES @ CFL
Toddler Storytime classes for children 18 to 35 months old are 30 minutes long and are held on Monday mornings during the school year, beginning at 10:30. Valerie is planning her summer classes and will provide details at a later date. Call her for information.
Preschool Storytime classes are on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. Children ages 3-5 and a caregiver are invited to join us for this 45 minute drop-in class during the school year. No registration is required. Themes for the rest of May are these: Chicks! followed by Seeds and Sunflowers, always a popular program, and ending with Spring Flowers. Summer plans are in the works. Check with Miss Val for more info.
Tween Time for kids in grades 3-6 and Books & Beyond for k- 2 will be suspened during the summer months. Summer reading activities and classes are just about ready for publication. Stay tuned!
TEEN STUFF
YA Wednesdays
The teen group decides each Wednesday afternoon what activities are on for that day. Come play the new table top games we just purchased with a grant from the Stewart’s Shops! They are: Settlers of Catan, Dixit, Munchkin, Small World, Ticket to Ride, Last Night on Earth, Tsuro, Elder Sign, Pandemic, Zombie Dice, Castle Panic, and Cthulhu Gloom. The fun begins at 3 pm and ends at 5 pm. Open to all area teens. Call Krista or email her at kbriggs@ncls.org.
CFL BOOK GROUP
The book group meets on Mondays at 6 pm with Phil Bain serving as the moderator. Call Krista for more information.

McCarthy’s Restaurant Cookbooks
The McCarthy’s Restaurant cookbooks are available at the library for $14.00 each. For more information, please call Sara Ricalton at 386-3275.
Magazines for children, teens and adults are for sale at a cost of 10¢ each, "talking books" (books on tape) and VHS tapes are 25¢ each.
Shop in the lower level of the library; pay at the front desk.
Many books are for sale on a daily basis in the lower level of the library.
Gale Testing &Education Resource Center - connects users to current information on colleges, technical schools, practice entrance exams, professional license exams, and much more. Go to www.nclsweb.org, click on Reference Databases and find the Gale database alphabetically. Type in your barcode number and a PIN, usually the last four digits of your telephone number. If that number doesn’t work, call the library.
